College Coaches

The tournament will showcase 80 teams and more than 1,000 student athletes from 22 states and every region of the country. Among the teams will be the majority of the preseason top 25 teams in the nation.

The 2017 field includes teams from Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia.

The Tournament of Champions has produced the consensus high school national champion in 18 of the past 21 years. Its alumni include the greatest stars in women's basketball, including Sue Bird, Tina Charles, Elena Della Donne, Maya Moore, Kelsey Plum, Breanna Stewart, Morgan Tuck, Diana Taurasi and more. It is the only scholastic, in-season high school basketball tournament that is attended by the majority of NCAA Division I institutions for the purpose of evaluating prospective student athletes.

Each team will play one game per day on December 19, 20, 21, and 22. Games begin at 11:00 A.M. on December 19 and conclude at 4:30 P.M. (start time) on December 22.

Colleges may pick up recruiting guides beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 19 at Mesquite High School, 500 S. McQueen Rd. Gilbert, AZ 85233. Cost is $180 for NCAA Division I coaches; $120 for NCAA Division II and NAIA coaches; and $60 for NCAA Division III and NJCAA coaches. Cost includes admission for all days.
